Craig McConachie, CPM


Craig joined then C&R Real Estate Services, Co. in 1986, became a partner in 1996, and has been President of the company since 2011. Craig restructured the company, now known as C&R Management Group, in 2022.

After attending the University of Oregon, Craig started his career in Eugene Oregon, working in the construction industry and founded McConachie Construction Co. In 1986 he moved his family to Portland and began his tenure with C&R. He obtained his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1989, while managing a diverse portfolio at C&R.

Kelly Costa

Director of Operations

Kelly Costa assumed the role of Director of Operations after spending over a decade implementing strategic departmental changes at C&R. Kelly holds a B.A. from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA., but she is a proud native of Beaverton, OR. Kelly joined C&R in 2011, holding several roles in Leasing and Portfolio Management until developing the Marketing Department in 2017. As Marketing Director, Kelly singlehandedly developed marketing strategies around leasing, resident retention, reputation management, and employee satisfaction. As Director of Operations, Kelly brings not only a wealth of knowledge around the current housing market and strategic position, but she lends her expertise in communication and innovation. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the outdoors.

Robin Levine

Director of Human Resources

Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business – Human Resources Management/Personnel Management from Western Governors University and an HR Management Certification from UCLA. She also holds the designation of SHRM-CP (Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management). Robin’s early beginnings with C&R began in October 2018 via HR Answers as a consultant working on the Pay Equity project.  She was quickly offered and accepted the Senior HR Generalist position on in February of 2019. One year later, she was promoted to C&R’s HR Director in February of 2020. As Director of HR, Robin is “focused on providing our employees and management great customer service and implementing innovative use of technology to improve transactional job duties so that we can bring added value to our employees.” In her time outside of work, Robin enjoys crocheting afghans, reading, and is a self-described “connoisseur of tequila and a life-long learner”.

Kristi Ebert

Property Management Controller

Kristi joined C&R in 2018 and became the Property Management Controller in 2021. Kristi attended both PCC and Portland State University, and brings 20+ years of commercial property management accounting experience. During 2021, Kristi has taken up helm in the leadership role of C&R’s company-wide accounting and data migration to Entrata; during this time, she also successfully worked with her teams to create new policies and procedures around accounting needs under new, and repeatedly changing, government mandates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kristi holds a certificate in Human Resources Management and has been a volunteer with CASA for Washington County since 2014. Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Amy Bertrand

Director of Training

Amy joined C&R in 2012 working at the site level. In March of 2018 she moved into the Director of Training position at the corporate office. Amy earned a B.A. in 2010 from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in Political Science and History and has completed some post graduate work at Portland State University. Amy’s interest in law and policy has been a huge asset as she keeps C&R in compliance with the ever-changing legal requirements for Landlord Tenant Law and Fair Housing Law. Amy chaired the C&R Safety Committee in 2018 and 2019. She also served as Co-Chair for the MFNW Forms Committee in 2019 and served as Chair in 2020. She currently sits on several MFNW Forms Subcommittees including the Portland FAIR Subcommittee, Eviction Moratorium Subcommittee, & the Washington Subcommittee. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest outdoors.

Ariel Wilsey-Gopp

Marketing Director, Broker OR

Ariel is a native of San Francisco, CA, where she grew up working in the family business of real estate and construction. Ariel received her B.A from Hampshire College where she studied English and Writing, and an M.A. in Accountancy from Golden Gate University. In 2005, Ariel relocated to Portland, OR, where she developed her career in Property Management. Ariel has been with C&R since 2012, with a few years away during which she founded and operated her own boutique property management company. At the end of 2020, she assumed the role of Marketing Director with C&R, where she continues to expand on her natural communication skills and innovative leadership ideas. Ariel has practiced martial arts and Latin dance for over 10 years, loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Justin Speer, MBA

Corporate Controller

Justin joined C&R in 2017 as the Corporate Controller.  He earned a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Oregon (’92) and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from Marylhurst University (’14) while graduating at the top of his class.  Justin has 28+ years of accounting experience with an emphasis on senior communities, affordable housing, and property management.  Outside of work, his passions include hiking, traveling, and watching his daughter develop into one of the top national high school hammer throwers.
